Frankie Cocozza Celebrity Big Brother
Frankie Cocozza Enters Big Brother House
Last night saw the launch of the 2nd Celebrity Big Brother series on Channel 5 and Frankie Cocozza was revealed to be one of the contestants. Although public opinion is divided as to whether Frankie deserves a place in the celebrity house, there can be no denying that his entry into the infamous house will cause quite a stir.
T he final line up to join Frankie were So Solid Crew’s Romeo, Kirk Norcross, Natalie Cassidy, Andrew Stone, Michael Masden, Denise Welch, glamour models Georgia Salpa and Nicola McLean, Natasha Giggs, Gareth Thomas and Playboy twins Kristina and Karissa Shannon.
Upon joining the house he told host Brian Dowling that he definitely would be up for having sex in the house and if the opportunity arises he wouldn’t be hiding under covers to do so! He claims not to care what the public opinion of him is and went into the house in a very upbeat mood. The cameras showing him visually excited when he saw the Playboy twins were also in the house.
With secret tasks and a weird and wonderful line up for this series, we’re very excited to see what is in store for Frankie within the coming days of the Channel 5 series.
Gary’s statement regarding Frankie Cocozza’s departure:
“Frankie has apologised publicly as well as personally to me and the producers for his actions that lead to him leaving the show. I’m hugely disappointed that he’s thrown away an opportunity like this after working so hard to get here. I’m sorry to see him go as we’ve been through a lot together in such a short time. I hope frankie continues to look to me as a friend and supporter and works it all out, picks himself up and somehow tries to turn this into a positive.”
The Golden Rule was… Drugs?
Frankie’s journey on X Factor has always been one that has been up and down. He’s had rave reviews from his first audition and since then has received a mix response each week. Many people felt that he was a dead cert to go last weekend during the double elimination however he survived another week and boy band The Risk and Jonny Robinson were sent packing.
However news announced just a few moments ago reveals that Frankie has been asked to leave the competition. In a shock move Frankie left the X Factor house this morning and will no longer be competing in the talent competition.
Although details are still being confirmed insiders say that although Frankie is devastated, he broke a shows golden rule and therefore they had no choice but to get rid of the wannabe rock star.
The 18 year old has spent much of his X Factor time partying, which has not had the greatest response from many people involved in the show – although Frankie has insisted that he is just making the most of the opportunity open to him. It is rumoured that he appeared on Sunday nights show after just 30 minutes sleep on Saturday night.
A show source said: “Frankie is devastated but he has broken a golden rule so producers had no option but to axe him.
“He had an extra boost from being kept in at the weekend when he thought he was going to go.
“But now his dream is officially over and he only has himself to blame.”
Frankie has always been a wild card on the show – with Ofcom even getting involved in some of his behaviour as he was seen swearing last weekend after being told he had made it through to another week. Although backstage he wasn’t as happy because of the general public perception – Twitter trends etc. Showed that the public weren’t happy he had been ‘saved’. A show source said: “Frankie had a meltdown. He knows he won’t win and can’t be bothered with all the haters.” We wait to see what happens for Frankie and the competition in the future!
Frankie Statement:
I will longer be in The X Factor. My life during the show has gone out of control and my behaviour off stage has over-stepped the rules
Frankie confirms exit: “I’d like to apologise to Gary, my fellow contestants and everyone who has voted for me, but, as of today (TUES),I will longer be in The X Factor. My life during the show has gone out of control and my behaviour off stage has over-stepped the rules of the competition.I no longer deserve my place in the show, so I am therefore leaving.I would like to thank everyone who has supported me.”
Frankie Cocozza – Dance Week
A few days before this weekend’s show it was announced that there was to be a double eviction. This was always going to be something scary for the contestants, as the show nears the end. It is always about this time that surprise eliminations and voting’s off happen, where we see people that we don’t expect to lose. People get complacent that their favourite acts are safe and therefore don’t vote – which often sees well loved acts sent home.
Frankie hasn’t had it easy over the past few weeks, where judges haven’t given the best feedback. This week was slightly better although Gary did admit that he had chosen the wrong song for the messy haired singer.
This week saw Frankie sing his own version of The Black Eyed Peas hit “I’ve Got A Feeling”, which got a mixed response from the live studio audience.
Frankie later admitted he never expected to survive Sunday’s double elimination, telling Xtra Factor hosts Caroline Flack and Olly Murs: ‘I literally could not believe it.’
The fact that Frankie (who has the most Twitter followers out of all of the finalists) got through seems to have been a wake up call for the wild teenager, who has now vowed to cut back on his partying ways and concentrate on the competition. His mentor Gary Barlow has also said that he’ll be working hard this week to ensure that his future song choices for Frankie are spot on and help Frankies chances of staying in the talent show. He explained: ‘I thought Frankie did have a bad weekend this weekend and I think he beat himself up so much he came out defeated and I’m really pleased he’s got another shot because I didn’t feel I gave him the best song this week.
‘So the first words I said to him when we went off stage were “mate, we’re going to work hard this week to get this comeback off the ground”.’
Thankfully Frankie is through and his fans seem to be voting in their droves, so let’s hope we continue to see our favourite contestant in future weeks!
Frankie – Halloween Week
The Halloween special of this TV talent show was always going to be spectacular. Over recent years the budget for the show has risen dramatically, and so the special effects and props have improved – which meant that for something like Halloween was always going to be something of an occasion!
There can be no denying that the last couple of weeks have not been Frankies best – with a week in the bottom 2. Frankie has been plagued by rumours and judgements because of his partying lifestyle, which may have affected his performances.
However this week saw Frankie up his game with his version of “Should I Stay Or Should I Go?”. His performance got rave reviews and once again saved him from being in the bottom 2 and kept him safe for at least another week on the ITV show.
Despite not always getting the best comments from the judges, it seems that his performance of the Clash classic has won the judges over, with Louis Walsh telling him “I think you’ve got your swagger back that was vocally a lot better than I was expecting, but I think you’re always going to be known for your antics off stage than on stage.” Tulisa Contostavlos agreed, adding: “Frankie I think you quite won me over tonight with that performance.
Maybe it isn’t surprising that Frankie did well, because rock has always been his forte and well and truly where he feels most comfortable. The past few weeks haven’t been easy for Frankie however this week showed that he really does have what it takes to do well in this competition.
There have once again been rumours this week of Frankies friendliness with the girls – with rumours even claiming that he and fellow X Factor finalist Janet Devlin have been gradually getting closer over the weeks in which the competition have been in full swing.
The theme for next week hasn’t yet been announced, so it remains to be seen as to what this tattooed youngest has to offer and we are very excited to see what is to come!
Frankie Cocozza – Week 3

Rock week was always destined to be Frankies big week. Every X Factor contestant has their genre that they feel most comfortable with, the theme week in which they are destined to shine. Rock week was always going to be the week that everyone had high hopes for him.
If that wasn’t enough pressure on the teenager, he was on ‘come back’ mode after being in the bottom two last week, which saw boyband Nu Vibe sent home.
Not one to buckle under the pressure – Frankie came out on stage and showed us that he is much better than his performance from week 2. Unfortunately all week he has been bookies favourite to be eliminated, which must have piled on the pressure tremendously. He dealt with the pressure as any 18 year old would – with some nights on the town letting his hair down.
His performance on Saturday night of Rocks by Primal Scream got mixed reviews by the judges with Gary rounding up comments saying that Franking deserved to be in the bottom 2 last week, but that he had made a good quality come back this week.
This week was plagued with judge’s squabbles which is a shame – with judges arguing over what ‘rock week’ meant as whether acts had stuck to what was needed. However what happened with Frankie’s performance there can be no denying that he threw himself into the rock theme.
Right from the start of his performance, which started with a black and white video it was obvious that Frankie felt at home being the rock star. The song by Primal Scream is well known enough to known throughout the nation but not a big enough song to be compared too much to previous artists, which is why it was a wise choice for this teenager.
Frankie made it through another week, which saw over 25’s contestant Sami sent home after her battle for a place against Kitty. The judges decided that Kitty had more to offer the competition and all but Tulisa decided to keep the outrageous star in the finals.
Frankie Cocozza – Week 2
The 2nd week of the ITV1 talent show saw boyband Nu Vibe voted out of the show after their performance this week. The show as always was full of ups and downs from performers, with performances from Janet & Craig stealing the show.
This week Frankie has hit the media once again thanks to his friendship with Amelia. Pink haired Amelia was voted out last week by her mentor Kelly Rowland and is said to be most upset at her treatment and the way the show has panned out.
She and Frankie have been said to have gotten close in the house, with rumours of a budding romance on the cards, however this has been hindered by the fact that Amelia will no longer live in the X Factor house.
The theme of this week’s live show was “Love & Heartache”, which saw contestants belting out some of their favourite tunes. Frankie sang his own version of Coldplays “The Scientist” which received mix reviews from the judges; with veteran judge Louis Walsh claiming that Frankie had lost his swagger.
It seemed that the audience agreed with Louis and Frankie found himself in the final 2 and singing for survival against boyband Nu Vibe. His ‘save me’ song was Daniel Merriweather’s Red which seemed to go down better with the live audience than his previous offering.
Judges votes saw it quite even with Nu Vibe on 2 votes and Frankie on 1 as it came to Louis Walsh for the decider. Louis could have taken the safe option and taken it to audience votes however instead he decided that the indie looking boy was worth saving and sent home boyband Nu Vibe.
So will this be the kick up the backside that Frankie needs to get him to up his game? Let’s hope so! His performances have yet to match the charisma and talent of his audition rounds so he really needs to do what he can to emulate that. Let’s wait to see what this week’s performance has to offer.
Frankie – X Factor Finals – Week 1

This weekend saw the very first week of the X Factor finals take place on ITV1. The 1st week is always quite exciting as we wait to see what makeovers each contestant has had and what to expect from the coming weeks.
This series was made even more exciting by the introduction of the week 1 X Factor twist. It was announced last week that that this weekend would see 4 acts sent home, whittling the final 16 down to the final 12 straight away. There would be no public vote and instead each judge would choose one of their acts to be sent home.
This means that Frankie was well and truly in mentor Gary Barlows hands – who had to decide who would be sent home on Sunday evening.
Saturday night saw Frankie unleash a more retro look than he had previously – with skinny jeans and his trademark messy hair. He gave a faultless performance of Ed Sheeran’s The A Team which earned him rave reviews from judges.
Although the standard was very high in Frankie’s category, Frankie was defiantly at the top of his game and has receiving fantastic reviews following this weekend’s press. Frankie was the last act to be saved by Gary as part of his nail biting decision which saw guitar playing James sent home.
So our Frankie has now made the final 12 of this year’s X Factor show, which aims to find a superstar. If he carries on with his great vocals and fantastic stage presence we can see no reason why Frankie won’t be able to earn a well deserved place in the final 3.
Rumours have been rife on the internet that Frankie has a soft spot for Amelia May who was voted out this week by her mentor Kelly Rowland. However there has been no announcement that he is going to add her name to his infamous bum tattoo.
So now we just have to wait and see what else cheeky chappy Frankie is going to offer in the up and coming weeks of this TV talent show.
Frankie Cocozza- Judges Houses
This weekend saw another X Factor double bill as the final contestants battled their way through the final stage in order to reach the live shows. Frankie is mentored by Gary Barlow and jetted off to LA with the other under 16s in the TV talent show. The group were shocked with Robbie Williams was announced as Garys side kick, helping him choose who should reach the live finals.
The 18 year old took a bit of a different route when it comes to performing in front of Gary & Robbie and choose to sing the massive Rhianna hit – ‘What’s My Name?’. It seemed to have worked as on Sundays show it was announced that he had been picked to perform as part of the final 16.
The pressure is well and truly on for the boys this year, as the male category has won for the past 2 years, and Gary is keen to make it 3 years in a row.
A sneak preview of the line-ups new look shows that Frankie has kept his infamous messy hair style which alongside his cheeky grin has helped him gain popularity
The teenager is one of the contestants on this years show who has grabbed the most headlines, right from the moment he boosted to having 7 girls named tattooed on his bum and pulled down his trousers to prove it to an enthusiastic audience.
It seems that Frankie has been popular with the judges because he has the whole package – no one can deny that he looks like a pop star and when you team that up with his vocals and his commanding of the stage you can easily see why he has gained such a fast growing fan base.
All that remains to be seen now is how he performs live on TV – the live finals start next weekend, so lets hope our Frankie doesn’t let us down! We don’t yet know the theme, so no guesses on what he’ll be singing but we do know that there is to be a twist, so it looks set to be an exciting show.
Frankie Cocozza Topless
Frankie is undoubtedly the cheeky chappy of this years X Factor competition. Ever since he burst into our screens during the early audition stages with his infamous bum tattoo girls have wanted to know (and see) more about the Manchester teenager.
During his first audition Frankie boosted of having a tattoo of 7 girls names on his bum – which he proved by flashing his bum to the judges and the audience but does the rest of his body live up to his pert offering?
Well as this body shows, it seems that Frankie really does have the goods. When it comes to his indie style of dressing and big hair it can be hard to tell exactly what type of body Frankie has. However ladies, it doesn’t disappoint – Frankie is clearly no stranger to the gym!
Why this photo hasn’t been more wide spread I really don’t know. But as ladies clamber to get a glimpse of more of this cheeky chaps body, we bring you a picture of Frankies upper body, in all its 6 pack glory. A contender for Heat Magazines Torso of the week, without a doubt. What do you think?
Frankie Boot Camp
Boot camp is never easy – You are put into groups and have to sing as part of a group of new people as well stand out for all the right reasons. This year Frankie was teamed up with Eskimo Smile and Becky Shaw as part of his group audition – quite difficult as his flirting with Becky Shaw had been relentless.
However it seems that didn’t faze Frankie as he managed to do his best and wow the judges with Louis exclaiming “It was all about Frankie, he totally stood out there.”
For the next stage of boot camp Frankie sang a cover version of Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls, which worked perfectly with his quirky vocal style. Gary Barlow however wasn’t 100% convinced, wishing that Frankie’s vocal was a little bit better.
However that doesn’t stop the lady judges swooning over him, which Kelly asking if they were going to see the infamous bum tattoo to which Frankie cheekily replies, only if you ask nicely.
There can be no denying that Frankie has earned his place at the Judges houses, with faultless performances, he really does have the look and feel of a pop star in the making.
Who Is Frankie Cocozza?
Frankie has since been all over the media because he has boasted that his main aim on the X Factor is to get the attention of more girls – and that he has!
Despite getting his bum out (or maybe because of!) he went on to wow all 4 judges with his rendition of The Zutons – Valerie. He sailed through to boot-camp, where he claims to have got friendly with at least 2 of the female competition whilst staying at the Croydon hotel.

The 18 year old has since gained nearly 30,000 fans on his twitter page since performances on shows such as Day Break and The Morning. The future certainly looks bright for this Brighton boy.
